Abestweb
If you are going to get into the affiliate marketing game I would start at the Abestweb site.
This is an excellent site for affiliate program reviews.
Search Engine Watch
Another info-rich site devoted to search engine technology, fads, trends, myths and legends. You can subscribe to their free daily search engine news update to fill your inbox with mind-numbing discourse.
Matt Cutts
Matt Cutts is a Google insider and often reveals some of the esoteric thinking that goes on at Google. Good to read in order to keep up on the latest Google gossip.
Digital Point
A good forum on SEO. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/
Commission Junction and Linkshare
Two of the largest affiliate program aggregators. Enroll in both to get maximum access to a wide range of companies.
Click Bank
Clickbank is probably the leader in selling electronics goods such as software utilities and eBooks. Electronic goods from Clickbank often have a high commission rate — 40% and more is not unusual, even for $97 books so you can easily make around $30 – $45 per sale. Easy to enroll and lots of products.
The only downside is that they don’t have a very good search engine to search for particular products. You often have to rely on third party search engines like CBMall for that feature. It’s free to search, though.
Planet Ocean
If I could only subscribe to one site in order to get the best and most accurate information on search engine technology, I would pick Planet Ocean. Everything you need to know about the latest happenings in search engine news.
Warrior Forum
Another “must-read” site if you’re at all interested in making money on the internet. Affiliate programs, joint ventures, partnering — just about got it all.
